General Channel Points

TASagentBot can interface with channel points in a few ways. Such features require the bot be responsible for creating the channel point reward using the API.

Scams

TASagentBot can scam users out of their channel points. It tracks and accumulates points spent superfluously in this way.

Cumulative scammed point totals and a scam leaderboard can be viewed with the !leaderboard command.

Scammed point totals can be queried for yourself with the !points command and for others with the !points <username> command.

Point Wasting

Reckless users with no regard for true value can opt to throw away their channel points with the "Waste Your Points" channel point redeem.

To wage war on these ludites, a feature was devised at the TAS Agency that allows brave and honorable users to spend their channel points to disable point-wasting. A single redemption of point-wasting disabling will add time (originally 30 minutes) to a cumulative timer, which only depletes while the stream is live.

To check the status of the disable timer, use the !waste command.

Modifiers

The tides in the point-wasting battle eventually turned, and a new feature was added allowing users to permanently modify the cost and duration of the "Disable Point-Wasting" redemption.
